Rachel Stewart MPH, RDH East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine
Rachel Stewart graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2005 with a BS in dental hygiene. She completed her MPH with dental emphasis from AT Still University in 2019. Rachel is a former Vice President of the North Carolina Dental Hygienists’ Association (NCDHA) and currently serves as a trustee with NCDHA. She is the NC dental hygiene liaison between the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and NC HeadStart. Rachel is a member of the advisory teams for the NC Oral Health Collaborative and NC Dental Society Council on Prevention and Oral Health. She spent the first 14 years of her career working in private practice. Since 2019, she has worked as a public health hygienist for the East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine, managing school-based oral health prevention programs.
