Deborah Jacobi, RDH, MA is the Policy Director at Apple Tree Dental. Her past clinical dental hygiene experience includes private practice, as a commissioned officer of the United States Public Health Service/Indian Health Service, and with several safety net programs. In addition to her dental hygiene background, she holds a Bachelor’s in Sociology and a Master’s in Public Policy and Health Administration from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Apple Tree Dental, a nationally recognized non-profit dental organization, operates nine regional Minnesota dental programs, delivering comprehensive dental care in clinics and on-site care at more than 140 collaborating urban and rural community sites including Head Start Centers, schools, group homes, and long-term care facilities. As a member of the Research and Clinical Innovations teams, Deb works to advance oral health care system solutions in support of Apple Tree’s mission to overcome barriers to oral health.
