Description: A community oral health needs assessment is a complete evaluation and survey to understand a community’s oral health status and identify disparities and unmet needs. By using this systematic process to gather and analyze readily available data, dental clinics are better equipped to meet the needs of the community it serves. Furthermore, the data gathered is also useful for advocacy, strategic planning, and grant sourcing. A community health needs assessment can keep your organization informed and prepared for change with the ever-changing healthcare landscape. During the roundtable, we will explore how to conduct a community health needs assessment, use cases, highlight successful case studies and provide opportunity for questions from interested attendees.
