Description: As organizations strive to address complex oral health challenges, engaging with partners—whether they are community groups, nonprofits, governmental entities, or others—offers unique opportunities to leverage resources, expertise, and networks. This roundtable will showcase strategies for cultivating communication partnerships that drive more significant social impact.
Partnerships are built over time through engagement and trust, shared alignment of mission, and collaborative decision-making. Well-tended partnerships elevate voices and extend the reach of advocacy efforts. By co-creating and utilizing an integrated suite of tools, joint initiatives can achieve outcomes far beyond what any single organization could accomplish on its own.
This session will cover strategies and tools, including communication toolkits for key partners such as board members, educational program participants, staff, and advisory board members. Additional tools include partner-focused webpages, blogs, social media, and e-newsletters, exemplified by the case study of LGBTQIA+ Oral Health Week.
Through interactive dialogue, participants will explore ways to co-create new approaches that foster impactful partnerships, scale innovation, and drive transformative change.
