Description: From 2020 - 2022, in partnership with various stakeholders across Ohio, Oral Health Ohio (OHO) used design thinking to engage the community, built consensus and defined actionable goals for advancing oral health through value-based care (VCB) and medical-dental integration. The result was a collaborative 24-month (2022-2024) pilot between OHO and CareQuest Institute, using the MORE Care® framework to test medical-dental integration, coordinated care and value-based payment in Ohio. This roundtable will highlight the insights and lessons learned from conception to conclusion of this health and quality improvement project that served over 17,000 children in Ohio.
