Session Description: Is “evaluation” a dirty word to your team? Does it spark flashbacks to pages of data cobbled together right before a funder deadline? In this workshop, we will share strategies teams can use to build evaluation into their work from the start of a project. After attending this workshop, you will be able to generate usable progress and outcomes data over a multi-year project, by utilizing evaluation frameworks, such as CDC’s Enhanced Evaluation Framework and Kirkpatrick Model of Training Evaluation to keep you on track. Given the wide range of staff experiences in evaluation, and availability of evaluation support staff, this workshop will provide tools that can be adapted for use by any member of a program team. With hands-on opportunities to apply these practical frameworks and tools, participants will leave this workshop with the skills needed to confidently dive into their evaluation work.
